Rubicon is a soft drinks company that has been crafting beverages for over 40+ years. Modern analytical equipment can detect trace amounts of alcohol in most soft drinks, including fruit juices. These tiny traces may come from the natural fermentation of fruit or the flavouring process. For example, even freshly picked fruits like oranges or mangoes may contain trace levels of alcohol.

Our goal is to create a near-perfect liquid version of each exotic fruit we feature. Exotic fruits like mango and guava have thick pulp, so water is sometimes added for optimal consistency and mouthfeel. Our recipes also include sugar if needed to match the natural sweetness of the original fruit. Each drink delivers around 50 kcal per 100 ml—similar to 100% juices like orange juice.

Not until they’re opened. All Rubicon cartons are shelf-stable for 18 months from the date of manufacture. Once opened, refrigerate and consume within 4 days.

Yes, all of our drinks are suitable for both vegan and vegetarian diets.

Despite the name, guanabana isn’t a mix of guava and banana. It’s the exotic fruit featured on the front of our cartons and is also known as soursop, custard apple, cherimoya, or sitaphal. Its flavour is often described as a blend of strawberry and pineapple with a hint of coconut. Have a taste and see if you agree.

While all of our juices are made in a kosher-certified facility, we currently do not hold kosher certification for our finished products. Please consume them based on your dietary preferences.

Since juice naturally contains a lot of sugar, we’ve chosen to reduce sugar in some of our SKUs by using sweeteners. Stevia is our preferred choice because it’s a natural, plant-based sweetener with minimal aftertaste and virtually no side effects—unless you’re allergic to it. It allows us to maintain great taste while offering a healthier option.
